There is scant published research on Ayurveda in Western medical journals. This has impeded the widespread acceptance of Ayurveda (including Maharishi AyurVeda) in the West.

Fortunately, MIU has 20+ doctoral students in Physiology & Health and Maharishi AyurVeda who are embarking on their dissertation research. This is a perfect opportunity to begin to address this research deficit. Funding their research will be a boon for our students, a win for our University, and a major boost to Maharishi AyurVeda in the West.
